The conveyor that reaches deep into the trailer — a multi-stage telescopic boom that extends like a telescope to 20 meters of reach inside trucks, trailers, and shipping containers. Built for parcels, cartons, bags, and packages up to 50 kg per linear meter, with push-button operator controls for extension, retraction, height, and belt speed. Available in fixed-base for permanent dock installation and mobile-base for repositionable use across multiple bays — the right tool when operators shouldn't have to walk packages into the trailer.
Six things that set a SANAM-built telescopic conveyor apart from a generic imported solution — every one of them a decision we make at the engineering desk before fabrication begins.
The defining feature — a multi-stage boom that extends from a base of 6-7m out to 13, 19, or 22m depending on configuration. The conveying surface enters the trailer itself, so operators load and unload at the point of need instead of walking packages from the dock.
Engineered feature — height adjustment range matched to span the lowest and highest vehicle floors you service. Hydraulic or electric lift aligns the boom tip with the trailer bed at any height. Adjustment happens at the operator panel; lock pin secures the height during operation.
Operator safety is a primary priority. Engineered safeguards: emergency stops at panel and trailer end, guarded belt edges, anti-collision sensors on the boom tip, end-of-travel automatic stops, height-position locking, and wide-base chassis with locking wheel brakes on mobile units.
Two, three, or four nested boom sections slide on precision rails, each stage with its own drive sync. SANAM engineers the stage count to your reach — two for shorter extension, three or four for full trailer depth. More stages means more reach but more engineering; we match the count to the job.
A control panel at the operator station manages every motion — boom extension and retraction, height up/down, belt speed forward and reverse, emergency stop. Push-button or joystick interface designed for gloved hands. Variable belt speed 30-60 m/min matches throughput to product fragility.
Built from heavy-gauge mild steel, powder-coated for corrosion protection in dock environments where humidity, fork-truck impacts, and weather wear down lesser equipment. Frame steel gauge sized to load — 50 kg/m standard, heavier-gauge for 100 kg/m configurations.
The boom is the same telescopic extending engineering in both configurations — the difference is how the base sits. Pick based on whether the conveyor lives at one dock all day or moves between bays.
Mounted permanently at a single loading dock — the base anchors to the floor or dock structure, the telescoping boom extends and retracts into the trailer through the same dock door every shift. Best for high-volume distribution centers, parcel hubs, and e-commerce fulfillment where one dock handles continuous loading throughout the day. Lower cost, simpler engineering, faster boom extension since no chassis movement.
Request Technical Data Sheet →Wheeled chassis lets the entire unit reposition between dock bays, doorways, or even between buildings — combines the deep-reach advantage of telescopic extension with the flexibility of a mobile conveyor. Best for distribution centers with multiple shipping lanes, secondary loading zones, mixed-bay operations, and facilities where the loading point changes throughout the day. Higher cost than fixed-base, but one telescopic serves several docks instead of one.
Request Technical Data Sheet →Six industries where the telescopic conveyor solves the deep-trailer-reach problem — anywhere operators would otherwise walk packages 10, 15, or 20 meters into a trailer one piece at a time.
Parcel hubs and e-commerce fulfillment centers loading mixed-size packages into outbound trailers. Telescopic extends 15-20m into the trailer; cuts loading time by a third versus manual.
Container loading and unloading at logistics hubs, ports, and consolidation centers. 40-foot containers run 12 meters deep — the telescopic reaches every corner without forklift operations.
Cases of bottled water, soft drinks, juice, and beer loaded into delivery trucks at beverage plants. Boom delivers cases at the back wall first, then retracts as the load builds toward the door.
Flour, sugar, rice, grain, and animal feed bags loaded into delivery trucks. The boom delivers bags deep into trailers — instead of operators carrying 25-50kg bags meter by meter across the trailer floor.
FMCG — packaged food, household, personal care — distributed in mixed-SKU cartons to retail. Continuous boom-fed loading lets pickers feed cartons at the dock while the truck side handles placement.
Cross-dock facilities and 3PL warehouses where freight transfers between inbound and outbound trailers. Mobile-base telescopic positions between two dock doors, extends to receive, retracts to discharge.
Anyone can sell you a conveyor. The question is who picks up the phone six months later when a chain segment fails on a Sunday night.
The conveyor is designed, fabricated, and assembled in our 10th of Ramadan facility — by the same team that installs and supports it. No middleman, no resold equipment, no relabeled imports.
We design around your factory floor, your existing fillers and packers, and your container specs. We don't sell standard parts hoping they fit — we design for your line.
Spares are typically available within 48 hours from our Egyptian inventory — no import waits, no customs delays, no production downtime while you wait for a chain segment from Europe.
We don't just supply a conveyor. We connect it to your existing line — matching speed, height, and transfer geometry to your fillers, cappers, labelers, and packers. The line becomes one system, not a stack of disconnected machines.
The questions our engineering team hears most often when a factory owner is sizing up a new conveyor for an existing or new line.
A SANAM engineer can scope your line, walk you through the choices, and give a budgetary figure on the same call.
