Line Overview

A Complete Packhouse
for Egypt's Fresh Export Market.

Egypt is a major fresh-produce export hub — table grapes, vegetables, and soft fruits move from Egyptian farms to Europe, the Gulf, and Asia every season. The producers who win the contracts are the ones with a real packhouse behind them, not a converted warehouse.

The SANAM Fresh Produce Packhouse is a full network — not a single piece of equipment. 4 pack lines, up to 192 packing stations, 64 closing tables, mezzanine carton-feed logistics, and palletizing return-loop conveyors — all working together to move fresh produce from the pre-cooler to the pallet at export-grade quality.

The line is designed for a ceiling capacity of 140 tons per day. Real-world operation typically runs at 100 to 130 tons depending on produce type, sorter speed, and changeover. Every conveyor, every table, every chute is custom-designed to your facility's floor plan, your contracted produce mix, and your buyer's spec sheet.

We design it. We fabricate it. We install it. We are reachable directly — no overseas service contracts, no import lead times on spares.

  • Seven functional process stages — receiving, grading, weighing & filling, check-weighing & labeling, carton closing, mezzanine logistics, palletizing
  • 4 pack lines, up to 192 packing stations, 64 closing tables — custom-configured to your throughput
  • SS 304 food-grade construction (1.5mm minimum), TIG-welded seams, IP65 electricals throughout
  • Built to international food-safety standards (compatible with GLOBALGAP, BRC, HACCP audit requirements)
  • Mezzanine carton-feed system — runs in parallel with main pack flow, never starves the closing stations
  • 24/7 local after-sales service — no import delays, no waiting on overseas suppliers

Why SANAM

Technical Advantages

What separates a SANAM line from imported alternatives — beyond cost.

01

Custom Engineering

No standard configurations. Every line is designed around your facility layout, production goals, and budget.

02

Local Manufacturing

Built in Egypt. When you need a part or adjustment — our team is on-site within hours. No import delays.

03

International Standards

Designed to packhouse standards used by export-grade producers. SS 304 food-grade construction (1.5mm minimum). IP65 electricals. Compatible with GLOBALGAP, BRC, and HACCP audit requirements.

04

Hygiene-First Design

Every surface designed for washdown. SS 304 food-grade throughout. TIG-welded seams ground to brushed finish. No rivets or screws on food-contact surfaces. Built to GLOBALGAP, BRC, and HACCP audit requirements.

05

Parallel Network Architecture

Mezzanine carton-feed runs in parallel — never a bottleneck, never starves the closing stations. The crate-return loop washes empties for tomorrow while today's harvest moves to pallet. Real packhouse engineering, not a linear conveyor.

06

Full Lifecycle Support

Installation, commissioning, training, spare parts, maintenance, upgrades. We don't deliver and disappear.

07

R&D Backed

Our dedicated R&D team continuously refines every system. Process upgrades and automation improvements are part of every line we deliver.

08

Built for Export-Grade Output

Every line is designed around the spec sheet your buyer in Europe or the Gulf will sign off on — gentle handling, hygienic finish, consistent grading, packing-ready.

Common Questions

What Buyers Ask Before They Order

Quick answers to the questions we hear most from packhouse owners, exporters, and operations managers evaluating a new line.

What capacity can the packhouse actually handle?
The line is designed for a ceiling capacity of 140 tons per day across 4 pack lines and up to 192 packing stations. In real-world operation, throughput typically runs at 100 to 130 tons per day depending on produce type, sorter speed, peak season, and changeover frequency. The 140 figure is the designed ceiling under ideal conditions — not a daily promise. We size the line to match your contracted throughput so peak-season demand is comfortably handled.
Which fresh produce types does the line handle?
The platform is designed for table grapes (the lead application — Egypt's top fresh-export crop) and fresh vegetables broadly. Punnet sizes range from 175g, 400g, 500g, to 750g. Carton sizes include 4.5kg, 5kg, and 9kg formats. Soft fruits and other delicate produce can be accommodated by tuning conveyor speeds, belt types, and station ergonomics during the engineering phase.
Does the line meet international food-safety and export standards?
All equipment is built to international food-safety standards used by export-grade producers — SS 304 food-grade stainless steel (1.5mm minimum), TIG-welded seams ground to brushed finish, no rivets or screws on food-contact surfaces, IP65-rated electricals, and food-grade PVC belting. The line is designed to be compatible with GLOBALGAP, BRC, and HACCP audit requirements that apply to your packhouse operation.
How modular is the line — can it expand if my throughput grows?
The packhouse is modular by design. Pack lines, packing stations, closing tables, and palletizing feed conveyors are configured to your throughput at commissioning, with built-in headroom for future expansion. If you grow, we add stations, extend conveyors, and integrate additional check-weighers without rebuilding the network.
How long from contract signing to a running packhouse?
Typical timeline: 12 to 16 weeks from signed contract to factory acceptance test, plus installation and commissioning at your facility. Packhouse lines are larger and more complex than single-line equipment so the lead time runs longer than smaller installations. Because we manufacture in Egypt, there are no import delays — and our engineering team is reachable directly during operation and after handover.
What about spare parts and after-sales service?
Spare parts are manufactured locally in our facility — the same team that built your line. We maintain a spare parts inventory in 10th of Ramadan City, and our technicians are reachable directly without import lead times or foreign service contracts. The system is designed to use commonly-available motors, gearboxes, and starters so you are not locked into proprietary spares.
