The conveyor that runs on gravity — products slide from one level to another without a motor, without electricity, without ongoing operating cost. The catalog defines the value directly: بفعل الوزن (by the force of weight). Available in straight chute for linear inclines and spiral chute for compact vertical drops. Stainless steel for food and pharma, polymer for lighter goods. The lowest total cost of ownership of any conveyor we build.
Six things that set a SANAM-built chute conveyor apart from a generic imported slide — every one of them a decision we make at the engineering desk before fabrication begins.
The catalog says it directly: بفعل الوزن — by the force of weight. No motor, no electricity, no PLC, no electrical install, no electricity bill, no motor maintenance. The chute is the lowest total cost of ownership of any conveyor in the SANAM catalog.
Straight chute is a linear inclined slide — simplest, cheapest install, best where floor space is available. Spiral chute winds around a central axis so the entire drop fits in a footprint the size of the chute diameter — best for multi-floor drops where floor space is scarce. Pick straight for cost, spiral for footprint.
Stainless steel SS 304 for food, beverage, and pharma — washdown-ready, FDA-grade. SS 316 for aggressive cleaning. Polymer (UHMW or HDPE food-grade) for lighter goods and fragile items — easier on delicate products, lower cost than stainless. SANAM specifies the surface based on your product.
Incline angle controls everything: too shallow and product gets stuck; too steep and it accelerates uncontrollably. Typical range is 20-45 degrees depending on product weight, surface friction, and how gentle the descent must be. SANAM engineers the angle to your product — heavy carton, fragile bottle, polished metal part.
Glass bottles, electronics, packaged pharma, e-commerce mixed loads — none of these can free-fall down a smooth chute without damage. Friction inserts (rubber or felt patches), baffles (small obstacles), and speed reducers (engineered restrictions) give controlled flow for fragile and high-value products. Retrofittable if your product mix changes.
Every chute SANAM builds is sized to the specific product — geometry, weight, fragility, drop height, upstream feeder height, downstream destination. Slide surface, incline angle, friction inserts, and frame are engineered to your operation. Send us the product spec and connection heights — we engineer the chute that drops in.
Both run on gravity — no power, no motor, no electricity bill — but they trade off footprint against fabrication cost differently. Straight is the cheapest and simplest; spiral fits the drop into a tighter footprint at higher fabrication cost. Pick based on your available floor space and drop height.
A straight inclined slide. Simplest geometry, lowest fabrication cost, easiest install, fastest delivery. The trade-off is horizontal floor space — for a 2-meter drop at a 30° incline, the chute occupies roughly 3.5 meters of horizontal floor. Best where the drop is moderate, floor space is available, and cost is the priority. Common in manufacturing drop-off stations, parcel sortation lanes, and reject removal off assembly lines.
Request Technical Data Sheet →A helical slide wound around a central column. The entire vertical drop fits inside a footprint roughly the size of the chute's diameter — often 1 to 2 meters of floor for drops of 4-6 meters or more. Higher fabrication cost than straight (the helical surface is harder to make), but the floor space saved usually justifies it in multi-floor distribution, e-commerce fulfillment, and mailroom downfeed. The catalog photo specifically shows this configuration.
Request Technical Data Sheet →Six industries where the line has a downward elevation change — and where gravity is the right tool for the job. Cheapest installation, zero ongoing cost, and nothing to break.
Sortation drops where the sorter sends each parcel to its destination chute — orders to packing, returns to inspection. Gravity does the routing once the sorter decides.
Gentle product transfer between mezzanine processing and ground-floor packing — bottles, cans, snack bags, produce. SS 304 for washdown, polymer for delicate items, friction inserts where landing matters.
Offcuts and rejects off carton presses, finished cartons descending from inspection mezzanine to shipping, scrap removal from cutting lines. Cheap, reliable, no power required.
Sealed pharma containers, blister packs, and finished cartons between clean processing levels and outer packaging. SS 316 for aggressive cleaning, no motor means no contamination source.
The classic chute application — letters and parcels routing from upper-floor sorters to delivery bins below. One vertical drop, 6 to 16 destinations on the floor below. Zero motors, decades of service.
Finished parts dropping from assembly stations to packing crates, scrap routing from CNC machines to bins, sub-assemblies descending from upper deck to packaging. Every factory has these drops.
Anyone can sell you a conveyor. The question is who picks up the phone six months later when a chain segment fails on a Sunday night.
The conveyor is designed, fabricated, and assembled in our 10th of Ramadan facility — by the same team that installs and supports it. No middleman, no resold equipment, no relabeled imports.
We design around your factory floor, your existing fillers and packers, and your container specs. We don't sell standard parts hoping they fit — we design for your line.
Spares are typically available within 48 hours from our Egyptian inventory — no import waits, no customs delays, no production downtime while you wait for a chain segment from Europe.
We don't just supply a conveyor. We connect it to your existing line — matching speed, height, and transfer geometry to your fillers, cappers, labelers, and packers. The line becomes one system, not a stack of disconnected machines.
The questions our engineering team hears most often when a factory owner is sizing up a new conveyor for an existing or new line.
A SANAM engineer can scope your line, walk you through the choices, and give a budgetary figure on the same call.
